I think the whole Shoemoney/John Chow thing can be summed up like this. First, what would motivate them to continually post images of them holding checks or driving hummers, etc.? I think what they are doing is trying to lure people into their networks... and make commissions of their sales. So... if they can get 10,000 peeps to sign up UNDER THEM on Azoogle, er whatever.. then they make 2% or whatever off of their work. Who knows.. but overall they are both very fishy. You should always be suspicious of anyone who tries to give you free secrets and advice on how to make money... more than likely there's something in it for them and only them. Whaddaya think? I could be wrong? I KNOW John Chow is an ahole... Shoemoney seems cool, but Chow is DEFINITELY an ahole. Big deal.. I bet it didn't make you a dime.. probably about 100 times worse than crappy digg traffic.
dude... that is not way to handle biz. you don't go around making accusations like that. and even if you do, you gotta have INDISPUTABLE proof. let them make their money. You certainly won't make yours this way!
i don't think shoemoney or johnchow does it but i can vouch for OP that tyler does do it. He owns a poker forum in which 80% of his income comes from he gets like 7k off it every month selling private ads, but recently it was found out that his stats were 70% off. He was called out and he changed the stats on his advertise page to "the correct stats" but even then there are only like 20-40 active members on his site. and this is straight from his advertise page. "Unique Visitors Per Month: 16,500" he claims he has 8,000 members but yet only 16,500 uniques a month which means his active member list is really really low. "#1 for "Poker Forums" on Google" not anymore hes number 2 point being this guy is really sleazy when it comes to stuff like this, his blog is full of controversy, his main income source is his poker site and he has a 240k condo he bought so why wouldn't he use fake traffic boosting to keep his income up so he can pay his bills? Hes also tried to sell his forum for over 250,000$ normally regular sites sell for around 10-12 months but i can understand an exception for some sites like forums and what not but even at the maximum two years at 7,000$ a month thats only 140,000$ so its pretty obvious to see hes in it for the money, so if it means faking traffic than so be it. not to mention the dude is the biggest prick you would ever come across. he sits on a high and mighty chair, this guy is just plain garbage.
Shoemoney and John Chow are gurus. Tyler is not. He got lucky with a single poker site and thats it. To prove its just luck and not his genius.. go look at his other successful sites. He doesnt have any
sorry you went about this the wrong way to ask for money. when you slander people and then beg for money, do you really think you are going to get a penny? if people want to donate, they will give to a cause that they feel is worthy, i have yet to see "Cancer Relief" slander people and then ask them for money. are you from this planet?
