in the Pay Per Click Advertising section there is always someone that starts a thread for somethingbux with an affiliate link or "Pm me if you to want to make 20¢ a day"
right now there are 5 threads on the first page.

that one is clearly 1 post spam.Smyrl's edit must have even made it a live link.

i feel pay to click is one of the lowest form of internet activity.
this is a webmasters forum.that has nothing to do with webmasters and shouldn't be allowed at all in this forum.

It is indeed, however there are other sites like mintshot.co.nz where it's the point of the site. I know nothing about yourbux (don't want to) but the guys promoting it are using affiliate links because it's not their own site. If you have a problem then click the "report this post" button [IMG] and let the mods take a look.

there is no point of reporting if there is no rule against it.
    another example is this http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=592670
he pm'd me saying he'll pay me 0,10$ (i asume it is ten cents ;) ) if i sign up under his link at hitcoop.com.
if you allow these threads, they will over come that section.
they already know not to post their links in the thread and they can't post in BST,right?

(no i didn't report the pm,because i'm not treating as pm spam.)

I once checked on these. People would be able to earn about 10 bucks a month if they really apply.
just a waste of time IMO.
It's good that somebody post these threads so newbies don't get scammed.

It's against the rules to use an affiliate link in a post. Use the red triangle and report them. The mod will at least kill the link and remove the affiliate part. Spam PM messages are an instant ban if I remember correctly. Forward them to a moderator marked as spam.

It will work better if you are doing this with about fifteen different ones. ;)

OP, people aren't allowed to pm you with solicitations unless you have asked for the information. Forward the pm to one of the staff at dp and they will deal with the spammer :)
