I want to have Paypal acc, but I'm under 18

Hi, I want to have a PayPal account, but I'm under 18 years old. Is there any way to do it? Maybe you can share your own experience? Thanx

 

you know what.. i'm only 17 years old.. and i register in paypal when i was 16 yo. hehe

 

paypal let underage to register account? i didn't know that.... that mean i can open a account on my bothers son's name even if he is only 2 years old

 

i can't remember what I did.. all i know is i have registered it with my name and just bought a VCC for it to be verified. and i'm using it until now happily.

But just for the sake of alertness ,,, Do keep in your mind that you should not make fake proof Id's . It will be a disaster in longer run.

 

Just put a fake DOB and get a VCC and it will be fine. If you provide fake bills n ID you will get into a right mess.

PayPal doesn't allow it.

Having an account while underage and using a VCC is almost asking for trouble. If your account becomes limited for any reason (it happens quite often to those who use VCCs), you will be out of luck on getting anywhere.

 

Maybe it would be better if you register the account with the information of your father or mother.And that would be better.When they ask billing info you just give it yours fathers inff course you have to ask your father first.

im also scared that in the end my paypal will be burned out.. im just using VCC and don't know if it is relly safe. But what they say is that it is ok..

 

Ask your parents to open an account for you that you can use until you turn 18..

 

ha, good for you, if you are 18 or older. I'm 16 and I live with parents, but it doesn't mean that I don't want to earn some money.
I don't exactly know what are those VCCs, but I'll go to the bank, take a Visa Virtuon card and that's it. I have a friend who is doing like this and he haven't experienced any problems yet

 

Be careful though, you could risk losing everything you make. Its easier to just use a parent or guardians account until you're old enough.

 

Sign up under your parent's name or wait till you are 18. As simple as that.

If you sign up while you are below 18, you are violating their TOS and will get into big trouble if they ever do decide to investigate your account.
