I think the siginificant risk to advertisers is something very fishy, how can you estimate the risk factor, well adsense finds new ways and means to ban publishers They should consider giving the reasons for these risk factors, genuine publishers can work towards reducing these risk factors, i really dont understand how we can reduce the risk when we are not aware of the risk I know one of the risk that doesnt convert to an advertiser and that is what google calls "back button risk", immediately after clicking the ad when the visitor hits the back button to go back to the website, i think the publishers are not at fault here, the advertisers churn out pathetic and sickening landing pages, the moment the visitor sees those pages then they hit the back button to go back to our websites (naturally we have put in hours to make them look good and popularise it), why cant google set some standards for the advertisers landing pages too or give us the authority to give some rankings or rating to advertisers landing pages those whose ads are there in our site (dont tell me about blocking the url-i know it), also google can ensure that based on these ratings the ads move up and down in the ad blocks in addition to the bids I know "g" is not a member of DP but what do you guys think
That is a brilliant observation and I personally think that would be a fabulous implementation if google would do that. Than again... that would mean they would lose business if they cracked down on their faithfull advertiser clients.
I'm sure they are on the board . And about quality for advertisers... http://www.jensense.com/archives/2007/05/google_adsense_16.html That's KINDA quality control. It can be done a bit better, though. I have people advertising for my keywords but when you get to their page, it's completely irrelevant to the keyword shown on my AdSense ad.
chances are less but do write to google and also send your traffic reports so that they can check if you have been targeted.
Sussane, I would suggest being objective and showing your website to one of the skilled senior members here and have objective opinion on where could we have gone wrong. Its natural to react and put the blame on Google, however, we should be the last to blame Google. Google has some of the most professional guys working anywhere on planet earth. They scan 1000's of websites everyday and though it is VERY LIKELY that your website might be a mistake to get banned but HIGHLY UNLIKELY that it could have just come under the scanner of Google. Moreover, Advertiser have freedom to exclude any adsense site they like which is not producing them any return. Google inturn has no option but to disqualify your website if MANY ADVERTISERs choose to exclude you. Good Luck..Do not despair..Google are objective in making decisions.....your chances of getting back is really very high.
thanks for the nice words friends, but i have been an one unlucky victim . BTW can i use my friends adsense id with his permission on my blog which generates lot of traffic? Will they also disable my friends account ?
if i were you .. i'll signup for bidvertiser or adbrite ... the best alternative for adsense ... why risking your friend's ?
i was also thinking about bidvertiser, does it perform well friends ? which do u vote bidvertiser or adbrite ?
As far as your case is concerned, I would tell you send email to google like other said and wait for atl east 30 days for your account to get reactivated. Apart from others have mentioned, I would like to tell you something very important which will help you in future. ery % of Banned account getting reactivated in Google is 0.01% since per day google bans approximate more then 5000 accounts cause of invalid clicks, I have come to this conclusion recently while i was looking at Google TV show in BBC and they Specified this. I am in google adsense consulting Business since past 6 years. Account which is banned once has very rare chances of getting reactivated. Once again i am sorry for what happend with your adsense account, Do let me know in case if you need any additional details from my end.
Sussane :- i am not sure where are you from, in case if you are from USA first thing you should try with YPN... Apart from that you have below mentioned high paying companies. www.casalemedia.com www.tribalfusion.com www.advertising.com they are really good towards paying just make sure the website which you are planning to hook up with them is very professional with atleast 1500 UV's daily. Regards Nandan
BidVertiser works for me. It's the best replacement for adsense. AdBrite is another story (low paying CPM text ads, etc).
i know i have been very discouraging to you about adsense ... but thats the death of adsense, the bitter truth ... every adsense publishers won't want to heard that why put all your eggs in one basket .... i would recommend you try out both ... and see which one converts well for you .... FORGET ABOUT ADSENSE you wont get it back ... just move on with life... adsense is not the best and it's definately not the end of the world (end of your online income) there are many other nice and better and higher earning programs out there ... wish you luck
The problem is that you had adsense ads on your blogspot domains, if you had your own top level domains, Google would take you more seriously, and maybe wouldn't ban you, or at least they would send a warning of some sort before they would ban you. You wont get your account back by just telling them that it was not your fault, and you did not clicked on your own ads, or told people to do the clicking. I'm sorry you got banned, but unless you had some sort of a click logging software, and logs that you can send them, there is no chance of geting reinstated. Send them an email with traffic logs, and check them yourself as someone might click bombed you. By checking the logs you can see if a certain IP refreshed the same page a lot od times. Also, forget about blogspot blogs, I've visited your blogs in your signature and the first time i opened your health blog It was pretty obvious why you got banned. After seeing words "Mesothelioma" and "Asbestos", it was very clear that the blogs were MFA's targeting high paying ads with the high paying keywords listed above. Tell them you wont have adsense ads on those blogspot domains, and get a new top level domain, and try to get them to reinstate you in adsense then.
