Poor perfomance of Adbrite

I m using adbrite on my forum........I get 10,000-15,000 impressions daily and till yester day i was making ($0.60-0.70) with 8 to 9 clicks....Today i got only 1 click on 12,000 views and only got 0.42 earnings........y am i gtting less clicks?.......

i applied for kontera and they approved but now i cam to know that kontera is inline advertisemnt which i not suitable for me since i run a non-english forum and my writings are in image forms...................so wat do u suggest wat program i should go or how can i improve adbrite earnings

 

any experience as mine?

 

What is your site? Maybe people are getting tired of whats on it?

I think because it's a forum, some (or most) of the members are getting used to the ads, and just not clicking them anymore. Try moving them around, or changing the color of them.

You may need to try and add more keywords to your website profile in adbrite. That might help. I reloaded on one page a few times, and all it ever showed was a "No Girlfriend??? READ THIS" ad. If that's what they are seeing on every page, I would about guarantee your visitors are becoming blind to it.

 

are these ads in the footers/headers or are they inlined as posts?

 

forums always have low ctr, you can place the ads as posts, there are bots which do it i belive , although with so many impressions you should try out some cpm's

 

hmmm thatz wat i noted as well database is not sending different adds but rereating adds let me add some more keyworkd and we will see

 

tey were only in each thread after first and last posts but just now i placed one on main page of forum before whats going on thing

 

but Adbrite gives mix of cpc and cpm as today watever i earned 90% of that was from CPM

It seems a lot of forum users are blind to ads (same with digg users). If your forum is for the web savvy the users will be even more adblind

 

Use interstitial ads from AdBrite.

Do not auto approve ads, review them yourself and keep the highest paying ones.

 

Ive had the same problem with adbrite to man..

Some times i think adbrite doesnt count clicks from all countries..
i got like 10 - 15% ctr with adsense 200 clicks around 25$ a day on a site and replaced the ads with adbrite and got mabye 7-10 cliks .10 -.30 cents total..

Big difference..
