Would someone tell me what a script is. I sent for some download and other kinds of scripts on the freebie part of this site but I am not sure how to use them or get them to work in my site. I only asked for them because they offer the chance for me to do dome new things with my site.

The site I have is point and click with no html or coding needed, however you can paste code in. I have a lot of code pasted in so I may have put scripts in and not realized it. There is some java pasted in.. I am looking at getting some of the freebie stuff on this site in buy, sell or trade forum. Some of them are download scripts and scripts for other things. In the past I have gotten scripts that ended up in winzip and I could not figure how to put them in my site so I am concerned about this
