Hi there, i know this isnt exactly directory related, here is a list i have compiled of social bookmarking websites: http://www.basedwork.com/2007/12/08/huge-list-of-social-bookmarking-websites/ If any one has a quality pligg, delicious clone something along those lines, maybe a unique type of social bookmarking site, please pm me or reply to this thread and ill review and include it in the list as im looking to get it over 200-300 links strong. If you dont have any sites to include, PLEASE ENJOY THE LIST! We all know that social bookmarking brings amazing traffic and creates buzz about your site aswell as giving vital natural backlinks. Thanks, CHI
WOW! that's a huge list. Now you know what would be better is if there was a submitter type of script. A script that could submit your link to all those sites at one go. any ideas???
The last time of checking, a few months ago, I couldn't find anything like this. It would be useful though.
yeah im actually working on something like this, it might take a few weeks to develop since i have a few other things going on but i have a domain name Popolicio.us which used to be a pr6, im using basedwork just to get my blogging about social networking and web 2.0 up to scratch as im only really a developer and not much of a blogger, so im thinking of developing a little web application which connects with say 200+ social bookmarking sites, you sign up to them all manually via a frame, using the same username and password say and then you submit your link and tags ect.. and it submits them all to all the sites, ill have to work with my developers to make it work good, if it did work it would be amazing.
You should go down through that list C, because a number of those links are already dead. The fickle world of social bookmarking sites!
If you did manage to create a product like this then I'm pretty sure you'd have something unique there.
yeah im working on a nice application, just planning mainly, ill update this list very regularly, if any one has any sites to submit let me know thanks, CHI
