Yeah there are some rumors on that, since less people used it, it was paying better than Adsense. But nowadays there's no big difference.

I also heard that Yahoo! used to pay better, but I also heard that Google used to "punish" those that switch to Yahoo! by cutting a great amount of Google traffic... I haven't test that, but I'm not sure I want to do it... :p I don't want to get The Big Brother upset... :)

Some people are using Google because of its reputation. Well I would like to say that it lives up to its reputation. From using both services I have noticed that Google has been much more reliable and accurate than Yahoo has.

PPC is definitely high. For my niche, it pays 5x the Adsense's. But CTR is so low. Adsense's CTR is 5x of YPN's, so the revenue somehow equal. YPN doesn't serve non-us traffic, so it's not going to be paid for. But Adsense pays very low for non-us traffic. I would say it's the same.

For people who can't get into YPN, why not try BidVertiser. Its PPC is higher than Adsense's and almost up to YPN's. BidVertiser's CTR is a little bit better than YPN's.

I would pick Yahoo over Google only cuz Yahoo sends your money to paypal over the check.

Yet you could do it so that Yahoo ads show only to Us traffic and Google ads to other *Uk, canada, ect..

It seemed to work out a lot better for me
