Hey everyone, my iPhone Wallpapers site went online at the end of July, and we're currently 2nd in google SERPs for "iphone wallpaper" and "iphone wallpapers"

I'm about to launch version 2.0 and it's using a completely different system / CMS... will this freak google out and put me in the sandbox?

    Thanks for your consideration.

If you're changing you site stucture it may affect your SERP for some times.
If you have not done it too often and if your link building was properly done (no massive directory submission for instance), it should be fine.

Since your website is young, you d'better not change completely its stucture too often. Google likes stability and regularity.

I'm asking myself the same question.
I have a html website and I'm changing to a CMS system.
    All url's will be changed.

I expect to have the first weeks very few visitors but as soon as google has spidered the new website I hope to get back at the normal numbers.

I'm planning to do it together with an offline promotion.
Manhy visitors just typing my URL, google likes this and will get me back where I came from.

Let us know how it goes.

But you have to do 301 redirect from old page to new home page to prevent 404 not found error and loose your score point.
