In the conflict that is Israel – Palestine we constantly hear claim and counter claim .Both sides claim to have truth on their side , equally both sides claim the other is blatantly lying in order to gain sympathy and support, so what is the truth of the matter. Here is some recent stats concerning Israel – Palestine. Rockets Fired From Gaza: From mid June until the end of October 2007, 400 Qassams and 510 mortars have been fired towards Israel, injuring 75 Israelis (6 civilians, including one child, and 69 IDF soldiers). Mahmoud , 11 , was a Bedouin with Israeli citizenship. Up to 40% of children in Gaza suffer from insomnia. 34% of children suffer anxiety. 26% of parents report severe to very severe anxiety. In all fairness the majority of the of the Palestinians Arab refugees grand parents have been born in Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. It's time for these countries to assimilate their arab brothers. Another thing you fail to address. Jordan is a Palestinian state. A fair solution is to merge the West Bank, Gaza and Jordan into one country. Gaza will be connected to Jordan via the Suez Canal and Red Sea.
A war hezbolla had no right to start. They are carrying weapons illegally against the taif aggreement which called for all private militias in lebanon to give up their weapons to the government. This is simply not true the idea that Palestinians are recent migrants is a myth, only about 5% of Israel is people who have been there 180 years or more. I don't support hezbollah, the idea that destroying the infrastructure of an entire country and killing 1,200 civilians is justified by a terrorist group kidnapping 2 soldiers, is just plain delusional. Hezbollah has been ordered to disarm by the UN and is an illegal militia. The Jordanians are Palestinians. They wouldn't have to trust abbas. They would run the show and the west bank and gaza people would get Jordian cirizenship like they had before 1967.

The population of Gaza was 360,000 people in 1967. Today there are 1.4 million people for a 300% increase in 30 years. Israel has removed all settlements from Gaza but guess what? If you have a 300% birthrate you can never have enough land. Gaza is crowded because it has so many people that got chucked there from there lands in pre 1948 Palestine. Gaza only had a handful of settlements and they were removed for logistical reasons, money mainly. The majority of settlements are in the westbank, illegally under all intentional law but Israel does not care. ISRAEL HAS NOT REMOVED ANY SETTLEMENTS in the wb, to the contrary, they are expanding them!!! They dont care about international law, they even exercise collective punishment, something last done in nazi Germany!

None really knows how many people live in the palestinian controled territories...some new studies say that the numbers are increased politicaly than the really number that has been said to the public.
