But logically the Americas do have to take part of the blame. Not everyone but some. Think about it. For goodness sakes its a democratic country. The people have the power don't they? I always say, "A person is smart. PEOPLE. Are stupid." Americans are dumb, combined into one broad picture. You have to admit, we have lots of problems. Sure, a PERSON has problems, but most of them are good people (we can assume). I dunno. Change is not always good. It's necessary but we need to be careful what types of change we elect into office. We'll need one with prior successful experience, good morals, and a firm optimism in our country. *cough Romney cough*

I learned everything I needed to know about the potential next commander in chief when he said he would consult with his lawyers, rather than consult with Congress on going to war. And frankly, the gentleman mentioned in your post (who I have come to appreciate strange enough), doesn't have any foreign policy experience. Heck, he was one of the guys beating the Iran war drum. He'd make a very good VP. Probably one of my top 2 or 3 choices.

You might want to know your facts, the US is NOT a democracy we are a republic. A true democracy is the exact opposite of what our founding fathers wanted for us.

America is about freedom, and standing up for what you believe. Many of you have no idea what that is about because your own government wont allow it. Granted, we are not perfect. But honestly, i think we are closer than most countries. Be honest with yourself people. The only reason you hate America is because your own country is second to it. There goes the greatest nation thing again. Again I ask how do you determine the greatest nation? Most Freedom? No, Most Liberty? No, Best Healthcare System? No, Most Honest? No, Most Peaceful? Of course not. The list go on and on. Like I said there's really no such thing as a greatest nation. But yet you still insist I ask you under what standards are you basing this one?
Well you should really look into other countries then, because that's not exactly true so to speak. How is switzerland, holland, or even canada less free than america? If anything switzerland, holland, netherland are more free than Canada or America.
what separates us from them is our Constitution and our potential to restore it. By law we have every right to freedom. i'm not well versed in international politics, so i don't know what standards they go by as far as the law.
So your saying America is the greatest nation because it has the most freedom by law in the Constitution. Even though you don't know what the laws of other countries in the world. Also I would judge a Country by practice not law. Don't get me wrong, the Constitution over all is great. But stating a country is the greatest country in the world because of its freedom in its laws. When there are numberous other countries that has the same or more freedom in its laws is just a bit odd to me. Especially when its actually practiced in those countries. You know what I'm saying?
yeah, but until i hear people talking about how great switzerland or canada is i probably won't look into their political system. no other country has really showed any reputation of being free and great or having the potential to be. I think the influx of immigrants from around the world to America might back me up on my statement. why do you think so many illegal immigrants try to come here and work for pennies? obviously yea i know we are currently run by the power hungry money grabbing bureaucrats in Washington but they have no base to stand on. who is to say they can stop me or anyone else from exposing them? they're not any better than I. and they'd make one large mistake to try to go after me physically, therefore i have all my rights that i need. all you have to do is expose the filth, they wanna play dirty? hell i'll gladly take the gloves off, nobody plays that game better than I.
There is lots of immigrants to Canada. Actually if you want to talk multiculturally Canada is the most multiculturally. Especially in the bigger cities like Vancouver and Toronto. Also I would expect a lot of immigrants to US currently is mexicans at least portion. And obviously its notthing to do with freedom is just that they can earn a living there and US is close by. If mexico was beside Canada, they be flooding in there too. Whenever you have a country like Canada, France, America, or anything developed country beside a poorer country like a third world country. You will have that problem. Because why would they want to work for pennies when they can work for dollars next block, plus the unemployment is ususally really high in those countries so lots of people can't even find work. As for your rights and that, ya they can't stop you from saying what you want. Which is good, you should and its great that you speaking out on your beliefs. But there are many other countries that can do the same, France, Germany people there speak out all the time. They rally for protest much more than in North America, because they don't get shot down by the press as much. Like I said again I don't think there is such thing greatest nation. And also remember Life is not a Race. I know people that are rich but have many regrets because they are so detached from their kids, other people have a happy family but are not wealthy. Everyone has their own purpose in life and there is no actually scale that rates what is your goal in life. Just like there is scale that determines which nation is the greatest. I personally believe nations should strive something like the most peaceful, the best healthcare, longest lifespan stuff like that instead of the greatest.
