somebody has purchased my product and is now selling it as their own on eBay!! I got an email from a somebody (that would have been MY customer) saying that they have this listing on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Cure-For-Bruxis...goryZ378QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem they copied straight off my sales page: www.cureforbruxism.com stuff like this really shit me. Whats the best and fastest way to get this listing removed? How can i stop this from happening?
yeah i still cant believe how quick it was.. I emailed the person that told me about the copyright infringment and they were like WOW, how'd you manage that. ps. They are my customer now
Ebay is great at enforcing copyright infringment violations, it is one of the places they truely shine.
I would send that person that informed you of the copyright infringement a nice free gift or something.. They just save you a lot of dollars from many future loss sales.. Stan
I totally agree with this. Send this person a nice gift. They did you a favor and it will show your gratitude....not enough people do stuff like that these days....
i will give them a copy of the product for free since this is what they were after it is true tho, not many people would put in the effort to find my website and email me about it.
Haha. Consider this: I want a product that a website is selling for free. I make an ebay account. I post a listing that is an exact sales copy from the website. I tell the website owner about it as if someone else is stealing their stuff. I get the product for free as a gift for reporting someone who "stole" the sales copy. Not that I did this, but it really makes you wonder, no?
I had a similar situation with a 'product', somebody tried to sell it on SitePoint, but a DP member told me about it (fortunately). Now this scammer is gone, nobody trusts in him.
lol, honestly i thought about that but highly doubt it.. Sneaky way to get free gifts from people you are "helping out".
sometimes this business can be hard.. but getting messages like the below really help me keep going: She sent me this after I gave her my product for free for pointing out the copyright infringement
