The top mistake for me was registering my company name .co.uk and not .com back in 2001. A couple of weeks ago I bought the .com for $1100, when I could have acquired it for registration fee 6 years ago.

Not promoting a site enough until it gets forgotten about, I do this often.

Sometimes, but theres one that I havn't promoted enough and will probably just leave the domain to expire (or sell it a few months before they expire, but I doubt i'll get much for it).

One mistake I made was let my site die and then revive it, then let it die all over again. I'm trying to get it back to life though.

My biggest mistake was not keeping up on my programming for well over 7 years. Now I have to relearn most of what I use to know.
