Yahoo! Messenger for Windows Vista Now Available

    Hello,

    Anyone tried Yahoo! Messenger for Windows Vista? I tried to download but after the download is complete is says "Installation now successful. This may have been due to other open applications or incomplete installs. Please try the install again after restarting your machine."

    It tied to turned off antivirus, firewall, windows defender and even uninstalled my old version..... still the same problem any one tried this????????

    I am mad because of it.... now there is no Y! messenger on my PC...... Will try to install that again later...... I have sent a feedback regardign the same to them........ and by that time I may get a solution from Google.....

    I have downloaded Yahoo Messenger on my Vista PC and I am using it without any problem.

    Nothing really good to talk about except the GUI, many features lacking and you have to know that this is just a Preview.. so not a good one really! I ain't happy with it.. waiting like 10 months for the crap! LoL.. I sound hard.. but hopefully we can see a better one soon, I still don't understand why the release when they find bugs and features in-complete? LoL?

    I Was Upset When I Downloaded The New Messenger For Vista. It's Boring Nothing To Do But Change The Color Of The Messenger Box. But Its A Preview. I Was Looking For The Webcam And Chatrooms. Thinking About Deleting It And Reinstalling Ym9.0

    Vista always worked with Yahoo Messenger... I have never seen any problems.

    The one which I have is 9.0 Beta and it works fine on my Vista Business Edition.

    It seems to work fine with Vista before the update, I do not see what is so different about it now.
