Sex, porn, XXX would all be ranked higher then those terms. Why would anyone search facebook or youtube or myspace on google? What would they expect to find?

Possible that these keywords are the most search words in 2007. This is only a short list of most searched words. I'm sure there are a lot but I think these words have highest number of search.
It not so obvious - today, when internet is so common like bread, xxx doesn't have to be on top of searches. 'britney spears', had beaten them all, for example (a couple years ago, of course).

Excuse me mate, it's obvious. XXX, sex, porn will always be searched more then anything else. Those 3 terms get hundreds of thousands of searches each day. Britany Spears gets less then 10 000. No comparison.

The whole thread is posted wrong. These are not Top Searches. These are the keyword which were searched the most compared to last year. That means these searches received maximum attention in 2007 but not at all in 2006. Extreme surge in search traffic. Read the idea behind zeitgeist before claiming anything next time.
