Hello. I built a form and some of the fields come up with a yellow background instead of white. How can I fix that? Thanks.

Disable the auto fill on your browser, and see if they come up white.

This is due to the Google Toolbar auto-fill feature.

any way to get rid of it. Why does it only come up on some of them? Should I put examples in the fields to get rid of it?

comes up white for me on IE6. its probably browser specific. Its used to help highlight things to fill in if the user is a noob. good question if you can force disable that

I think you can do that by change the name of the field.

lets say it is email. change it to something like eminformation.

I think that will not allow the auto complete features to guess about the field and will make hem white.

If he add my lines in CSS, he can have autofill enabled. And white inputs ;)

Why change it? Only people with autofill enabled will see the yellow backgrounds. And if your user has autofill, they will probably want to know they can use it (by displaying yellow form fields!)
