http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boGw3VciDig&eurl He sat up there and said "Mike Mcconnell came in and said we have new information. He didn't tell me what it was." Is Bush going to claim someone walked in to his office, said we have new information about Iran and DIDN'T TELL HIM WHAT THIS INFO WAS. What an atrocious liar this president is. He threatened the American people with threats of WW3, instigates Iran in to a war, and tells the American people that Iran is building WMDs and is a threat to America. ALL of this while he knew they had halted their program years ago. Meanwhile Mike Huckabee (someone who claims to be for nation security mind you!) has no idea what the NIE is. http://blog.foreignpolicy.com/node/7256 Sad. This man wants to run for presient and he can't even keep up with the news. Being briefed by reporters lol. No surprise he continues to agree with Bush, like the good puppet he is.
I find it all rather incredible... that anyone is OK with any of this. I honestly find it shocking that Bush's approval ratings are so high. Anything above single digits at this point is ludicrous.
1. the polls are rigged or 2. of course he has all those idiots from texas and the south to support him who couldn't tell a donkey from a horse. I HATE BUSH!1111!!!!11111
killafawk, you might want to edit that post. It is what it is. The people are so dumbed down, uninformed and disinterested, this sort of nonsense could go on indefinitely. I mean, a presidential candidate, who questions the intelligence of 16 of the finest intelligence agencies in the world, when only moments before, admitted he didn't even know what the NIE was about. This is where we are today. We get the government we deserve. Because most of us, are fat, lazy and apathetic.
We need to do it through a democratic process....IMPEACH THE FUCKER then HANG HIM BY HIS BALLS FOR TREASON right next to CHENEY!!!
Do we have confirmation of a lie, or it still just an assumption due to BDS? Rub3x, have you seen the NIE yet? This is dishonest. Huckabee knows what an NIE is. You probably meant to say he didn't know what was in it. For the record, can you tell us who is responsible for getting NIE's to presidential candidates and at what time of day are they required to inform candidates? Not uncommon for busy candidates. Iran is a threat. They have threatened the US and Israel over the years. I'd ask about RP, but he's a third tier candidate and would have already surrendered to Iran by now.
Are you surely THAT naive that you think someone walks in the presidents office and a conversation like this takes place: Hi Mr President we have urgent news on Iran! That's ok, tell me in a few months. Do you honestly think the COMMAND IN CHEIF wasn't made aware of this report? Gtech, there's one thing to support your president, but you're just blinding supporting every action he takes. You're either EXTREMELY naive or you're a troll. Oh and sorry Mike is too busy campaigning to take 10 minutes out of his precious life to actually educate himself on issues that he wants to control one day. Not sure about you, but I don't want a president that has no idea what's been going on for the last 2 years because he was "busy campaigning."
So you have no source that it was a lie, and even worse, you have no idea whose responsibility it is to brief presidential candidates on NIE's? Starting to make sense now. Thanks.
Is the president the one ultimately responsible for a large majority of decisions in the U.S? Yes. Should he take in to account all information at his resources. Without a doubt. Are you in denial. Absolutely.
You keep going after my guy, so apparently my PM did not get through to you. Not uncommon for someone without any foreign policy experience. Kruschev came to the US and pounded his shoe on a table, threatening to bury us. And they actually had nukes. We downgraded the situation with diplomacy, withdrawing nukes from Turkey after they withdrew nukes from Cuba. RP issued a Press Release this morning. http://www.ronpaul2008.com/press-re...s-need-for-ron-paul’s-foreign-policy-of-peace Of course, he has foreign policy experience.
I see hope, enough of us are saying it looks hopeless... I am seeing hope. Think... If you know the truth, can you be lied to?? no, but they can hug their karma all they like Plus, we have the internet this time, information is spreading too fast to be contained now.
Your guy is a nut. What can I say? Apparently you have not caught up with the turn of events. We're not dealing with Russians. We're dealing with people that will blow up their six month old child in order to kill infidels. I believe neither you, nor RP have the ability to comprehend such a threat. Will he be re-releasing a new press release tomorrow? Issuing press releases and monthly newsletters is about the only experience he has.
Ad Hominem attacks seem to be the extent of what you will say. Ah yes, the day 2 spin from the White House. This is going to play out over the next several weeks. Perhaps you remember my thread a few weeks ago, where I talked about what was known and what was incorrectly stated about Iran. I think it opened a lot of people's eyes about the difference between rhetoric and facts. The (sic) "War on Terror" pales in comparison to the fear, paranoia and dread of the cold war. The "War on Terror" is based around 19 suicidal hijackers. Russia was threatening to destroy the entire planet several times over with it's nuclear arsenal. I've recommended several times to you, studies on the psychology of suicide bombers. There may be some ideological elements, but the overriding and common denominator, is occupation and oppression. That's how it is with the Tamil Tigers, how it was with the IRA, heck even Guy Fawkes was trying to bomb the British Parliament and kill the King as a terrorist because Catholics were oppressed in England. When you push people too far, they get suicidal. It's common sense really. Well, he has been serving in the House with the Committee on Foreign Relations, and he has written books about foreign policy. He also seems to know a lot more about world history, and geo-political history than any other candidates in the GOP. Paul was right on Iraq, and he was right on Iran. So far, he looks like the only one on the stage at the debates who has a clue about foreign policy.
Yea to say we're in a more dangerous time now than the cold war is ridiculous. We had nukes pointed at us 24/7. Now we have a bunch of people in caves making home made bombs out of whatever they can scrape off the ground. They had bomb drills in schools, they were actually scared. I don't think many people these days fear the "war on terror".
Bush lying is just not news. That dumbass puppet has being doing that since the stupid arsehole came into office.
