What Paypal can do if your account has negative balance and you wrote fake details when registered the account? Thank you
All they do is suspend your account. Seems like a weird question unless you used it to scam someone. Did you? Edit: Seems even more weird since you posted that you will pay paypal for egold yesterday http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=584969 If it smells like a scammer, normally it is!
Yes is possible. Someone sent me funds on Paypal I used for shopping now my account got negative balance because user that sent me Funds said to Paypal (unauthorized transaction)
i think it is possible if your credit card limit is possible. but i have never seen a negative balance.
You can have negative balance. After a person scams someone, he will obviously withdraw the money to another account. If the scamme D) sets a dispute, the account will have a negative balance if the money sufficient for it is not there. @Worldix I think you are a scammer getting ready for whatever thats going to happen, but in case I am wrong I'm just sayin, nothing is going to happen you right now if you gave them the fake address and stuff. But I assure you, you will be caught for whatever you try to do. Justice will prevail
You can get negative. As topic poster says you receive some cash. You withdraw it or spend it. The original sener does a chargeback. He wins and you are now in the negative. They will try to get their money back as best as they can. Your credit score will go down
Once you put money in the account the neg balance will go away minus what you owe paypal. Granted you put more in then what you owe them
if its a large negative balance, they have your ip and probably will call you and get you to pay. If your bank account/credit card is entered, they will take the money from your bank or your credit card.
a chargeback will also cause a negative balance, and to use paypal again, you have to payback until you are 0. they do not have permission to take from your your bank, so you either pay it back, or don't use paypal again.
thats not what they told me, I asked before (i was selling a site for xxx and was worried about a chargeback) and they said if your account is linked to your bank account and your paypal funds are negative, they will take the money from your bank. that was about 3 years ago though...
It's funny how the paypal policy changes with every paypal support person you talk to. I've had numerous explanations, and different outcomes on the same issues with them.
Ive had a negative pp balance before, my account is normally tied to my checking account, but about 6 months ago I moved banks and didnt update paypal. it went into negative balance after my hosting got paid, they emailled me and I just updated my bank details, they then re-charged the bank. to be fair my case was a genuine oversight, not sure about this one though - my details certainly weren't fake"!
