    People that start threads like that will probably get 15-25+ offers, ranging from all types of blogs and all types of prices. Would you go and PM all the ones you don't like just to thank them? I wouldn't be bothered, to be honest... and I'm sure that's what most of them feel :)

    While answering others ( for a PM that you requested for in the first place) is recommended, it is not compulsory. Some people do not like to say " NO '' to others ;)
