I can't focus on my school work lately... it's kind of like I fell out of my grind. I'm guessing some of you have experienced the same thing, my question is what did you do to re-motivate yourself so you could get back into your grind?

I'm going through it right now. Got a 5000 word essay, 2 200 word blog posts (with references) to write on some crap subject and a database driven website to create by friday. Really should get to it. Think i'll start with the website, that'll take the longest time.

I jump around or I play with my baby doggie or I'd just go to sleep. LOL I'm such a procrastinator.

I'm looking for ways to snap out of it, not feed into it!

I like to remind myself of Nike's slogan: Just do it.

I turn off the computer, go to an empty room, and concentrate on whatever I need to do.

Thats the problem with me. My work is always on the computer, so I get distracted, by here and other places, should really just turn the internet off then do work, but then i'll find I need to download something or look something up, it's bloody annoying.

I've tried the method of "if I'm not being productive, I am going to nap, wake up and start the work" type-thing. It's been working sometimes only.. :p

You can always take off the major annoyances and focus more on what should you be doing.

i believe its more of a "lack of respect" towards whatever you're doing, think about it and realize how important it is and that should change your mind
