How useful is article submission fo SEO?

Hi guys,

I am currently starting some article submssion for SEO, was just wondering how effective this tends to be (compared to for example blog posts or follow blog comments)?

Also does anyone know if JetSubmitter is good for SEO?

I have some wrote some articles for submission , I wonder is it possible to
duplicate the contents i submitted in the article website and also onto my webpage ( how would it affect my webpage ? ).
Btw , i am really a newbie in Search Marketing.

It's good of course, but make sure you dont run into duplicate content issues. Make sure you have your linkback in place. And yes, the sites that you submit too can rank higher than your actual site sometimes..so be careful where you submit to. I dont think using a software will help you in quality. It can help you save time but it may submit to all the places you don't want to.

Article submissions - A good way to get traffic, However, if you do that for the sake of a backlink, sorry it will be a nofollow link.

Most of the top ezines use nofollow, BUT, if you are out there for traffic, then you right on, Use specific title for your article, with keywords, shorter n specific, better it is, Coz the pages of such top Ezines and article directories takes no time to come up on top serps.. And in case its your article page for your keyword, your site will see some huge traffic waves..

But dont expect anything with the link popularity using article submissions.

 

I've experienced good results with article submission. I use articlemarketer, and yes, there will be duplicate issues.

the way around this is to generate a landing site for every new article you submit.

Article submission was the first thing I tried that worked. Not only does it help with SEO, I get several clicks per day from ezinearticles.com over to my site consistently. Also, some of the articles I wrote got picked up by other publishers which created several other relevant backlinks.

Article submission to various article directories was never been useful to me because it doesn't give good traffic on my site. So, I think blog is more effective to promote your site because I get more referrals from my blog than my article in article directories.
