Should check that clicktale thing - it definitely looks like the most attractive program I've seen in ages.

Yea, it's really great. It's a good tool to increase earnings, but it can be amusing at times too. I spend about 30 minutes per day watching people on my site and sometimes wonder wtf they are doing.

anyway, good luck, with your goals you have a long way to go :)

i'll be happy if you could refer me to your landing pages designer by pm, i have a lot of work coming :)

    thanks in advance!

As they say... the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward! Nicely done, Trypp.

Wow, excellent... I sent you a PM, but I thought I'd post this to the thread as well.

For someone who wants to get started in Internet Marketing, could you direct me to some resources or what-have-you that would explain exactly what needs to be done to get up and running, the terminology, etc? I bookmarked all of the sites that are linked in this thread, but it still all seems very greek to me :)

Basically, some of my questions are: How do you get started? What tools are needed to succeed? What's the best medium (in your experience) to advertise? What's a "Landing Page"?

Thanks so much for creating this thread and keeping it updated. It's truly inspiring!

LOL. I used to have a script that did practically the same thing, we got some pretty strange visitors, believe me.

Ditto on that comment about starbucks. Only difference is I am a frappucino-aholic. I bounce back and forth between moccha and carmel, with an occasional peppermint moccha.

I checked out the clicktale site and it definitely looks like a program worth having. I have seen similar program that help you out with that type of info like salesandstats.com (made by the same people who make x-cart)... only I have never seen where it actually records the mouse actions... that is too cool.

That could be huge tool to use in figuring out how to get people to click on adsense ads or anything similar like that.

As for the walking... I used to run 2 miles every day... and it was the most refreshing thing in the world. When you finish with a good cardio workout... it is like your mind goes into turbo drive. You can do twice as much when you do that.

nice job and congrats. what will impress me is 6 months from now you still do it (not saying you won't) but everyone gets lucky sometimes, but i dont want to come across saying it was just luck.. I think the tale that needs to be said is the time and hours you have put in to get to that point.

You must some really nice account history with Adwords if you're getting such cheap clicks dude.

Since it works on Google, why not shift it over to Yahoo? It gets a decent amount of traffic, and IMO, converts equally well if not better than Google. And they aren't as anal as Google when it comes to approving keywords. Give them a shot and who knows, you might just add a significant amount to your bottom line. :)

Walks are actually a really good way to come up with some ideas. I usually prefer walking after dark (the neighborhood I live in is really safe) and I've thought of some great techniques while on a midnight stroll.

I have a bad habit of doing that when I first go to bed. I get all comfortable and the next thing I know the 'ol mind gets back into hyperdrive, and I start coming up with all of these ideas. Next thing you know I am back up and sitting at my computer again wide awake... ahhh... life as an insomniac.

No plans as of yet. I've been so busy and now added YSM to my list :) I also decided to pause some campaigns and take a 5 day vacation in 2 weeks.
