my 45 evalution period is over for the latest winzip, and it seems that I can't extract anything unless I buy it. But I dont want to buy, since its always been free.

Oh, you don't have to go and crack winrar if you don't want to spend the twenty bucks. Just keep telling winrar that you are aware of your trial period being UP. Still cheating, I guess :)

7-zip handles zips and rars. It's open source, and costs nothing.

Why bother cracking winrar when it's just a tiny box that you have to exit?

I would add my vote as well. 7Zip is an excellent lightweight program and is very fast in handling zip & rar files. It is freeware so even businesses can use it. Have been using it for a few years and would recommend it to all.

Just download some crack less than 15kb and copy it into the WinRAR directory.
After time, it will take less time then clicking on the exit button.

I use Winrar … the popup reminder is no worse than a splash screen.

Or you could just uninstall it, download the evaluation again and then reinstall it, with the 45 day period being renewed. Thats what i use to do. But began buying the product, because it was much easier for people i work with.

No, you don't. Let it expire, remove it, then install it again.

I'd suggest you to use WinRAR..
you can use it with full features after the evolution period.
