Talk about defeat to the administrations war drum call. Intelligence claims Iran halted nuclear weapons development around 4 years ago. This is just another blow to the US mindset in the middle east, but atleast we are coming out with the correct data and information.

I remember you participating in a thread I posted about straight facts on Iran. Not that I know more than anyone else, but it's things like this that go to show that we need to approach threats rationally, and until we are sure they are real threats with an intent to injure America, not be willing to surrender our military forces to the UN or young men and women to wars of ideology or profit.

But it is clear, that the regime of secret evidence and rhetoric too often tries to lead us down the wrong path, and one can only speculate as to what ends.

America first. Americans don't need to be afraid of anyone. And Americans can take the high ground of reason.

    What a total mis-statement!

The Iranians appeared to have temporarily halted work on building a nuclear weapon -- as a direct result of the actions of the Bush Administration.

This isn't anything near the final victory over Iranian nuclear ambitions that you paint it to be.

Even weirder is that even this small victory is a result of U.S. policies which moonbat liberals strongly denounced.

Even weirder than that is that the moonbat liberals have yet to admit that the Iranians were ever building nuclear weapons in the first place.

You've spun this story so many times that you're managed to -- in your mind -- completely reverse the actual meaning of the original facts.

    But Iran is dangerous!!!

Bush and FOCKS News said so so it must be true.

Seems that the Bush/Cheney bullshit is being exposed for the utter bullshit that it was. :D

Whether this will register with the sheeple remains to be seen though.

A bunch of murdering kooks stop building nuclear weapons -- for a short time -- in response to direct action from the Bush Administration -- and suddenly you come up with the kooky idea that they aren't dangerous?

How on Earth is that even remotely logical?

Will, i dont know if iran is building a nuclear weapon or not. Right now i wouldnt trust information coming from our government or from iran, but that isnt my point. My point is we could have stopped all of this in 1953 when we took out the best leader that iran ever had. The rational thinking, very intelligent(phd in finance), peoples leader(former farmer himself) , Doctor Mossadegh. Now if your brother lied to you 1000 times about your neighbor just so he could make some money from that lie, how can u ever trust him again.
I know the iranian regime is not a popularly elected regime(heck we fixed that many years ago). We should be cautious but at the same time we cant march to war everytime the military industrial complex tells us to.

We have to sit back and examine things rationally. Who will profit most from this? The american people?
Our soldiers are dying in iraq. For what? Our soldiers have the best of intentions, but believe it or not, its the responsibility of us(the american people) to protect them from being used as a pawn of the elite, to keep them from harms way, and not sit there going rah rah and waving our flags while they die for nothing.

Ags, we all know who owns fox news:)

    Wait... pingpong123 -- you're an American?

Trying to connect current-day Iranian Islamist terrorist with the downfall of an Iranian communist more than 50 years ago is more than a bit of a stretch.

Stopping building in 2003 is hardly a "short time". It's 4 years, which in the context of post 9/11 history, is a long time.

So, do you have an exact date when the ragheads started their nuclear weapons program back up?

Better yet, do you know how much of their "peaceful" nuclear power R&D is dual-purpose?

Yes, I read the entire piece of propaganda from the Communist News Network.

But I'm not asking about what the idiots at CNN claim -- I'm asking what data you are using to back up your statements.

Do you have any points to argue, or are you just going to bore me all night with insipid questions about my personal reading list?

Please quitting dancing around the personal attacks and get on with any intelligent statements which you may have to make!

Will, I have to dance around the personal attacks. I'm not the sort of guy who reports people to the moderator for personally attacking me. I prefer to work things out like adults.
