My forum isnt even active why am I getting spam lol

    Hello I have a forum that gets porn spam 2-3 times a day its not even an active forum so I dont understand why this is happening lol can anyone help me stop this spam i use capatcha and email verification... I am using vbulletin

    I once had this problem before when one of my forum was not active and I constantly get more spammers every hour. How about you try to create an additional field such as:
    - What is 2+2 equals?
    - Spell rats backwards

    Using this technique might work as I tried it before. :D

    Spammers smell weakness and prey on an empty board. They think since it is not active, no one will catch them and remove it. Use some kind of spam plug-in and you should be able to eliminate most of them.

    Agreed. However, there are solutions to solve these issues -- install No Spam! or as BluAzn mentioned, create some custom fields.

    If it's a dead forum non active forum then get rid of VB period. Why pay for the license on a dead site? You can convert to mybb with ease for free.

    oh its a site im going to start promoting that hasnt been marketed yet which i dont understand how the spammers even found it.. lol
