I even don't know what forum section is correct for it coz traffic depends on SEO as well as on links and PPC advertising and so on... Traffic is supreme! so what are your main sources?

most of my traffic came from SE which I more prefer than a referring site. Anyway, digg, orkut and other forums are the good sources of my traffic

In March 2007 a Wall Street Journal article was telling the story of how websites have a roller coaster ride in their SERP with Google. In that article Google was stated with the commentary that websites owners should not rely only on search to drive traffic to their website.

For this reason we engage in a multi-directional approach using content marketing with articles, news releases, blogs, forums, social bookmarks, social communities, image marketing. We find that the traffic ends up coming from multiple locations. The search engines are not always primary.

90% Search engine for most of my sites.

But they are mostly informative sites, and not blogs.

Well established sites are likely to have most of their traffic from the search engines. They do not need to advertise, nor do they have to submit their site to social bookmarking sites.

Your aim should be to bring your site to a state where traffic continues to flow in naturally, and you have little or nothing to do on your part.
