Hi, i just found this excellent forum and have joined up. Apart from being the owner of an online business with a keen interest in SEO etc i have decided to do a major update on my website and require a SEO/web designer expert to assist me. I wanted to post my requirements in the appropriate forum but it says i have to wait 14 days. Now i can understand that this would be to discourage people from blatantly advertising their services but i am not doing that, i require someones services. I think putting my requirements out on your forum would be an excellent way for me to get wide and varied opinions on the best way for me to go and would assist me greatly in choosing the right SEO/web designer.

The problem i have is i need to select a company/person to do this work very soon and i can't wait the 14 days.

Is there any thing i can do? It would be disappointing to not be able to use the ideas and services of one of the many good people on this forum but i don't know what else to do.

Can anyone help me out here.

    many thanks in advance.

    Scott

Get active in the forum. Browse other's sales threads, post your needs in your signature. I don't think they will waive the rules.

The rule really would not work if they started to bend it here and there. I have been here over a year now and have never seen them remove this restriction for anyone...

Besides, how fair would that be if they bent it for you and nobody else? My suggestion is to wait it out and make sure you have the appropriate number of posts for when that time comes around.....

    And welcome to DP!

The rules are in place for reason and exceptions are not made.

    Thanks.
