    Hello there,

I'm also a newbie to proxies and just have created a website (www.hide-my-identity.info). I'm getting about 200 uniques a day and 600 - 1000 impressions a day on adsense which brings me good income. I submitted my proxy to few social bookmarking sites, Few directories, Paid for links on newsletters, Exchanged stumbles and diggs which gets me this traffic. Yesterday, Someone adviced me to SEO on my websites for better traffic and I'm sure that I'd be making good revenue from my proxies by working on that method. You probably have to focus on a keyword or few, and do directory submissions and etc. for better rankings on popular search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Live. I'd be learning how to get SEO on my websites and will surely be writing an eBook on it and share it for FREE.

You can submit it to my sig. Also do a google search for 'submit proxy' and add your site to every site you can find....that will help quite a bit, and its free.

That won't always work. First of all, proxy toplists suck. And most sites that let you submit your proxy are topsites, which brings me back to point #1. Social bookmarking sites is one great way, but there are others even better. Check out my sig if you're interested.

I didn't type anything about Top Sites. Have you searched that term? The number one link is Tech FAQ, if you know anything about proxies you know to submit your site to techfaq among others.

Yeah, cause when people look for a proxy they definately search "submit proxy" in google. WOw, you're a genius. The fact that sites like TechFaq and most other sites on the front page of google are blocked by websense, it's reallllllly smart to submit there.

Sites that let you submit are for webmasters, they aren't all too well on the consumers, and any experienced proxy owner knows that. Granted, there are good sites otu there you can submit too, but you can't just do a search for "submit proxy" and hope your end user does that too.

    Disgruntled??

If you read the topic, this gentlemen is trying to figure out 'where to start advertising' his proxy. The points I mentioned are great places to start advertising.
