I just logged into my Gmail and I see this message: "You are currently using 579 MB (10%) of your 5426 MB." When did that happen?
Its going up all of the time. I think they just recently started the counter again. I'm only using about 300mb so there is plenty of space left for me.
The counter was forever increasing just very slowly, until Hotmail increased the space to 5GB, then all of a sudden the counter went on hyper......
The rate of growth of GMail space has almost tripled compared to a year ago. It took Google only about less than 6 months to increase GMail by 1 GB.
In My Gmail I can see this .. You are currently using 367 MB (6%) of your 5428 MB. It Nice to see . Once I was using up more than a Gb.. Then Deleted all the junk ,
It happened awhile ago. While being at 2.7 GB (and growing ), Google just doubled the amount to get nearly 5.5 GB. They've also changed the GUI of WebMail.
Yes, you see the space counter, its always increasing I wonder if anybody really uses that much space
really don't pay much attention about it because all I care is my emails LOL!! maybe they make this feature in email so that it can be use for backuping files, any kind of backups...
lol, 5.5gig is too much for me I barely use 1mb I delete all the mail I receive, I really have no use for it
