Teacher Gillian Gibbons is to be released from prison in Sudan after she was jailed for allowing children in her class to name a teddy bear Muhammad.

And not before time what was all this about in the first place ?

She should sue for wrongful imprisonment instead. This is ridiculous.

Good to see an end to the madness! The sad thing is it's going to put off other teachers and indded many other skilled workers from working there in future, not really what a country in such a mess needs.

    Good.
Better get all the teachers out of that country, so there won't be any "mistakes" like this again.
    Uneducated and ungrateful fucks.

I'm concerned about the health of people who come from far away, and dedicate their valuable time to teach and educate the young generation of a 3rd world country.
What do they get in return ? This crap ? No thanks.

Except that DevilHellz is completely correct in his statement.

It's bad thinking like this which is keeping Sudan and the Sudanese people in poverty.

The lady mustve left her friends and family to impart them education , and a silly mistake and they are out with knives & daggers for her head , these are not humans , no amount of education will wipe off their bigotedness.

They are humans -- and this is how humanity behaves in the absence of civilization.
