I think we should do a little experiment to see how accurate Alexa rankings are. Everyone post your average daily visitors as well as your alexa rank and we will see just how off they are. DON'T LIE ABOUT YOUR TRAFFIC!!! Hi ... 26 November 2007 to 2 December 2007 = 117,458 uniques; 3-month Alexa steady at 255,584; 7-day Alexa ranged from 204,000 to 235,920. Page views varied from 2.1 to 3.9, during the same period. Reach varied from .00025 to .0005. The data pattern is called unstable and unreliable. Still, the marks see it as tops. What can we say? Good idea, this thread, hope there's mega response.
Alexa Rank: 247,401 Google Analytics says that I'm getting 2,500 uniques per day. ..My Alexa ranking used to be so much better when I had the toolbar installed.. I also had some paid links that took me to under 100k on Alexa. Everything these days is natural traffic...
Well, Alexa traffic rank isn't just about unique visitors is it? How about page loads, depending on the structure of the site one unique visitor might generate one or hundreds of page loads. Correct me if I am wrong, I would be more than happy if someone could explain to me how Alexa is working. Anyway here are my stats; Alexa rank: 188,711 (3 months avg) Unique visitors: ~150 per day
Als have two sites around 120.000 Alexa ranking, one doing 20.000 uniques/day (a whopping 600.000 pageviews/day) only Dutch traffic and the other doing 2000/day (6000 pageviews/day) 40% Dutch traffic. I guess it doesn't count Dutch traffic too well Dutch people don't install the Alexa bar I think, at least not as much, so it doesn't count properly.

Alexa ranking is 102,000 and average daily visitors is about 500 unique visitors. Do you believe that Alexa traffic does not give accurate result?
I think alexa rank base on how many hit receive by their tool bar expecially user from US..Maybe you need more visitor who have use alexa toolbar to have better rank..

Though I'm not all that sure who jack is, but do suspect he's trying to sell his domain or at least some links...
Daily average 500 Hits: 10000 Alexa Ranking: 1,393,327 Note, I installed the Alexa toolbar to see if it was true what they say, right enough about 3 days later we went from somewhere in the 1, 600,000's to 1,393,327. Now, tell me that's not corruption at its best?
Alexa is a horrible indicator unless it's a non-webmaster related site and the ranking is below 1,000. I have a non webmaster related site alexa rank in the 260,000 to 270,000 range with 3,000 daily uniques I have another non webmaster related site alexa rank in the 280,000 to 290,000 range with 2,500 daily uniques I have another non webmaster related site alexa rank in the 400,000 to 410,000 range with about 100 daily uniques I also have a webmaster related site alexa rank in the 40,000 to 50,000 range with not THAT much traffic, about 3,200 daily uniques
