I'm sorry for England, who did not qualified. England is essential for a good cup, world or european. I'm also sorry for Romania, who qualified and is now in the same group with Holland, Italy and France and fearing disaster. However, Romanians are not envying the English. After all, how interested would you be in an ice hockey tournament in North America? Or a cricket match in Sri Lanka? And don't feel sorry for us - we were crap.
You are right about cricket. England was great at rugby this autumn, more that was to be expected, last European country to stand. A consolation maybe. And still - very sorry about England, and Scotland too, both very unlucky I think.
