I should say I don't wish to denigrate marcel or his beliefs. I poke fun, based on Tbarr's ridiculous thread, but that really doesn't have anything to do with this thread, or people of faith and their beliefs; I regret disrespecting them so.:)

I found this article and it makes a lot of sense. Check out these 17 facts that disprove evolution.

Ive seen that article, it makes many interesting points, however the common evolutionist will just say the points are untrue or missing certain details, which is just an easy way to avoid admitting the flaws to the evolution theory

I love when people give me tib bits to play with

    1. Moon Dust

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/moon-dust.html - This explains clearly with mathematical evidence of this explanation. Using cites sources and all the other goodies that equal up to this little thing we call "evidence".

    2. Magnetic Field

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth's_magnetic_field - This actually explains what the Earth magnetic field is, how it works, and so forth, should be good enough for any intelligent person.

I'm stopping at these to because the rest are just silly, using factless assumptions and so called theories. I just love this little bit about Noahs Arc There would have been plenty of room on the Ark for the dinosaurs (especially considering that only a few were of the enormous size of Tyrannosaurus or "Brontosaurus.").... enough said right there, I can't even "begin" to believe any faith barring person would EVEN consider this.

About the section of the shrinking sun I suggest you read http://www.answersingenesis.org/creation/v11/i2/sun.asp which gives some create critisim on BOTH sides of the aisle.

Again, some points I can't explain or dare find reference to the other wise, as the same creationist could do on my side. We'll never know till the end ;)

This is why this question will never get answered, each side has scientific evidence supporting their theories. Neither really disproves the other, because they are both only theories. You say tomato i say tomoto. One group of scientist see things their way and another theirs. My biggest complaint is that only one of these is taught in schools. Yet the evidence for the alternative is just as strong, and backed with scientists of the same degree.

You keep saying that but you also keep attacking me. You can't have both you know?

Mathew24:14 and Matthew 28:19-20 and Matthew 10:11-15 says the very reason why we go doorknocking. It's an invitation point blank!

There you go again attacking. Look at how you type "CONvert". Do you really think everyone reading these posts are that stupid to not know what you are really trying to say?

If you want to find out why only 144,000 you should ask any one of us. You would see good reasons pointed out from what the Bible teaches. Many people believe "blindly" that everyone is going to heaven. Not because they deserve to or anything. Just for believing in Jesus or God. But the fact is that the Bible teaches the rest of us are destined to be on the earth when wickedness is removed from the earth. But, to ensure wickedness does not return we need a united worldwide government from heaven. Hence, why it says in Revelation 7:4, 14:1,3, 5:10 that these 144,000 will rule as kings and priests over the earth. Not because it was handed to them on a silver platter. But because they deserved the responsibility and title.

With this in mind, if everyone were to go to heaven, then what would the purpose of the earth be? A wasteland? Hardly! There are many scriptures that say what the earth will be like in the new system of things.

I'm actually fairly convinced of it, as God's method of creating the earth and keeping it going, just like he does with everything else. It's not a miracle if you survive a car wreck, it's just statistics built into this beautiful universe. I believe there is some evidence in the original texts.

The very root of your logic is exclusive and insulting. I just want to hear one person explain to me why the thief on the cross got to go to heaven just for believing, but nobody else gets to?

Please look into dispensationalism. It's a method of dividing up the bible into simple to understand contexts. The Bible is so simple, please stop trying to muck it all up.

    Thank you

The thief on the cross? Oh...you mean the thief on the stake! Who says he went to heaven? There is no solid reasoning for that thinking. "Paradise" is an earthly destination. Not a heavenly one. There is certainly no basis for him to go to heaven. What on earth did he do to deserve a position up there? Nothing. This is why the "blind" faith that everyone goes to heaven, falls down.

The thief having an earthly destination falls in line with Romans 6:23 where it says "The wages sin pays is death" and at John 5:28-29 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment."

I have posted several times I use the New World Translation (if you cared to search). However, it says the same in most other translations.

I know in your mind Watchtower and the word of God are inseparable. When you go door knocking you do it for ONE purpose and ONE purpose only: to add to the Watchtower membership. It's not the Kingdom of God you are promoting but the Watchtower beliefs.

I couldn't care less if someone does not join my church but instead repents of his/her sins, gives glory to God and keeps believing in Jesus Christ for his/her salvation. Jesus didn't say go and convert people to the Watchtower organisation. He did not die so that I would join the Watchtower organisation and go around handing out copies of Awake.

Regarding attacking, there is a button you can press to report me to the mods if that is what you think I am doing. Again, my issue is not with you but with the Watchtower. At the same time I don't see how exposing the false teachings of the Watchtower is what you call an attack. You say the Watchtower is not infallible and yet you believe E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G the Watchtower teaches.

In which other translation does it say Jesus was not crucified on a cross but on a stake?

How would you know? Are you doorknocking with us?....LOOOOOL...what a ridiculous statement...hehehehe...so....you tell me this...what do you think the benefit is by adding to the watchtower membership? What possible gain can the Watchtower Society receive if the purpose was NOT teaching people about the Bible? Come on...out with it man...you are holding back what you really want to say here aren't you?

And for this reason alone is why your side of the discussion holds little weight. You said it yourself. "I don't care".

Have not seen you quoting verses from your version. You give a try.
