Those "$20 per click" stories are mainly BS...when I first started using AdSense I put it on a mesothelioma MFA site. The highest click I received was worth a dollar, the traffic was garbage and it didn't make me very much money at all. The best advice anyone ever gave me was to make a site with quality content about something I was passionate about. I did, and it worked out better for me in the long run, especially in regards to AdSense.
i did get a $13.00+ click, 2 in a row in fact, but that was in 2006. Now adays those hight paying keywords dont exist on a dense scale as before unfortunately.
cant agree more. Its like the overnight get rich schemes. No one pays you $20 per click. Get some life, get serious and start writing good stuff.
I could offer you $50 keywords, which are secret keywords I invented and no one knows except me. First you will need to to paypal me ten thousand dollars and I will pm you the list. Prices you are going to make are not guaranteed. Peace,
Just create another Mesothelioma blog. Everyone and their mother is doing it. Remember to not use unique content.
the chances of you getting such keyword and than getting a valid click is absolutely nil. Advertisers have got fairly smart as well nowdays with using long tail keyphrases and using absolute localization. So ya, better work on building a good website rather than looking for $20 keyword. If it helps, you can still make a very localized lawyers websites, say iowa lawyers and make good money from adsense if "done properly"
The 20$ a click is AdWords for SEARCH You are are putting it on a website, so it's AdWords for CONTENT The bids are individually adjustable. Content clicks convert poorly compared to search clicks, and advertisers price them at least ten times lower than Search clicks. Hope this helps.
