My friend is a celebrity/red carpet interviewer and her blog gets 400 hits a day, I was shocked to know how many.

What could she put on there for ads?

What kind of ads do you mean? ie affiliates, ppc. Well, you could perhaps look into adsense or commision junction. Hope that helps some.

That should earn her about $1/day or so.

I've seen Adbrite, BlogAds, and Adsense on some of the bigger entertainment blogs.

400 "hits" or 400 pageviews? Remember that if a page has, say, four images on it, clicking on that page will give you not one, but five, "hits" — the page itself is a hit, and each loaded image on the page is a hit.

The number which probably means more than "hits" is pageviews. Also of much importance is "unique visitors". It is not uncommon for, say, 25 unique visitors in one day to generate 150 pageviews and many hundreds of "hits".

"unique visitors" is the site traffic and pageviews is the "site stickiness"

Can you post the url of your friends blog?

Yeah...definitely affiliates. It's easy to sell private advertising as well. You can see where I have my blog set up to do just that in the sidebar. You can charge monthly rates for ads, and links via PayPal. If her blog gets a lot of pageviews, and you can show evidence, then people will want to advertise on it.

The address is, and it's in spaces etc. because I don't want it to come up in a google search for her privacy, so that people aren't searching for her blog, but pick up this page~

Does Pageload is same thing as pageviews? If not can you explain what does pageload means.

    Thanks for your time

    I think Pageload = Pageviews
unique visitors is important but your friends can try to put on ads.

Adsense or widgetbucks or both. Try out which one is more suitable
I write some reviews about earn $ online,

My Celebrity BlackBerry Sightings blog gets over 5000 page views per day and makes about 5 dollars per day on a good day with AdSense.

The site can do much better with CPM advertising but you have to be in the half millon page views per month range before banner ads really start to pay off.

You have to get gobs of traffic to do well with a celebrity sight in my experience.
