The blank google ads

It doesn't matter if they don't hate him. Rules are rules.

It's not the signatures; its the content posted. "Do you like porn", "Selling adult site", "selling porn site", all those words are against their terms.

I'm sure Shawn will contact his account manager to get unbanned if they banned the ads to show on this forum.

There is no section which contains adult metarial on DP.This is a webmaster forum and "selling porn links" is not an adult content.The things we sell are links sites or similar things.This is not a sexshop : )

 

Hopefully Shawn will login to his Google AdSense account, finding that some things are missing

 

Or he could ban anyone who engages in such practices, like other forums do.

Looking at your own signature, I can see why the possibility might worry you.

 

I thought the publisher's share was much higher than Google's unless you meant thats how much Google would make in a year.

 

No one knows the exact ratio - but its assumed to be 50:50.

 

It's 100% sure that subdomain forums.digitalpoint.com is banned. My best guess is because of the revenue sharing, more specifically some of you guys click the ads to help you and DP earn more.

I expect YPN ads showing up in two days. Of course then no more revenue sharing.

That's a ridiculous statement to make. There is no way you can be 100% sure unless you have written evidence from Google sitting in front of you.

The only one who knows what's going on right now is Shawn and possibly his sister and the DP staff.

Anyone else is guessing.

 

From what I've heard about people & Adsense bans, Shawn might not even know what's going on. lol

 

Is that so? Think outside the box. Yes true google wasn't making money directly from owners of the Directories. But they were making money from the MFA sites that were using HIGH PR directories to gain alot of points in SERPs.

Is it something related to the new managed ads? I had almost the same problem with it adding the code, which has never before been reported when it was still the old style.

 

I agree 100% , BUT isn't it amazing how much speculation there is

 

i don't think its banned coz usually when a publisher is banned PSA ads start displaying. but we must not forget this is a rev sharing forum so not sure what may have gone wrong.

 

ithink they try to do some thing in the mod may be improving it
