Ever want to bang your head on the wall?

OK I need to vent somewhere and I have chosen to do that here. Ever try to some coding and no matter what you do it does not turn out right? I am just going insane. I am not new to web programing. But when you start trying different stuff such as php css and such it can get very frustrating to someone who started with html a long time ago.

Ok there is the last of my rant. I guess it was good to rant because right after I wrote the last sentence above I realized what I was doing wrong and it now works just fine.

Take a step back relax and do something else. Then go back and look at your work. You might see what the problem is after taking a break.

I find that banging my head against the monitor works better :)

In most cases rcj662 is right. Find something else to do for a little while and when you come back the solution usually presents its self

Well I think my monitor was around $200 and I would rather not damage it. The desk is right against the wall so I think I will bring up photoshop and print out a target and tape it to the wall so I know where to slam my head.

I agree 100% take a break for an hour or two. Do something completely different take a walk, watch tv anything to get your mind off it for a bit

Relax. This should be your first times with web development, if it's not, you wouldn't freak out like this any more. :)

Programming skills and experiences need time to grow, you will be bulletproof and invincible at last.
