    A distant look:
If I'm watching American politics on tv almost nothing about this Ron Paul.
If I'm stumbling online on an American election subject it's very often Ron Paul.

Love him, Im Canadian so it doesnt really matter what I think, but I watched the YouTube Debate the other night and I think his views are right on the margin of what the United States should be turning too after Bush's terrible time in Office.

I say, if anyone wants to be elected just promise to send Bush to Iraq for a full 18 month service since he wants the war so god damn bad.

I listened to it and thought it was pretty interesting. I still don't agree with his policy on the Federal Reserve though.

Not too many people agree with everything he has to say. Many people disagree with him on abortion, states rights, the entitlement system etc.

His strongest points are honesty (even if you disagree), integrity and ending the war ASAP.

The fiscal conservatism and civil rights stuff comes second for a lot of people.

I love his foreign policy of non intervention. He knows full well our history of foreign intervention and he has the guts to speak out on it.

He's 72. He is incredibly good health though; bikes like 10 miles a day.
