Funny phpbb3 developers

I just cant belive how long they develop it.First it took several years just to start development.And now when it finaly reached RC stage,it goes up rc8.
Today is released rc8 version.I mean i dont remember did i ever saw software with somuch rc version.In most cases rc goes up to 4,so this is realy unusual.
Any though about it ?

I second that question .
Their have been web applications in Beta versions for years, give them a break.

 

Also, I don think they charge for that application.

 

I know but still so long............

 

obviously you don't know, if you did you would know of all the things that have to be done, and when its open source your not really getting paid.
