Brand Logo Contest - $50

The logo is for a media/advertising company, so needs to be professional and slick.

The company name is Dark Hat Media

There is no website as of yet and will be built around your logo, but we do have colours.

Main colour is: #213D30 and secondary colours will be just black and white.

The Icon of the logo is the most important part, maybe even used stand alone without text, but will consider both forms.

Obviously the company name has Hat and Dark in the name, so think along these lines.

Payment to the successful winner through Paypal when we have received PSD and font files.

Hi! Here's my entry! I hope you like them, I can change whatever you want

 

Here's my entry: (fully resizeable, the hat was made in illustrator and vector file can be provided as well, very suitable for multiple uses).

 

This is my first time asking for a logo design on here and I must say you guys are excellent!

I will now PM a few of you with feedback, but this is where I am at, the below logo is the sort of thing I'm looking for, nice icon which could be used stand alone and not always with the text.

I will leave this running for another day or two so we can get some week day'ers involved as well.
