I use both for different reasons, are there any other sites out there like these and why do you guys use them ? I know about facebook.
I only use MySpace. Main reason, to stay in contact with friends and family and so that if anyone from my past is looking for me, I will be easy to find. I used to use Friendster .com but decided I am just going to use one community/social site ,not 20.. LOL Honestly there are thousands out there, I just say --- use the most popular. I myself have re-connected with 5 seperate childhood friends thanks to MySpace. I was a Navy kid and moved alot!
There is no way I could have looked up, and called my childhood friends as quickly as I found them on MySpace. Until I was 11 I moved every year, sometimes twice a year. I still made great friends during all the moving and recently became curious as to how there lives are going. I didn't know where they lived, last lived or if they were even still alive. All I did was type the names in the MySpace search, found matches that were the same age, looked at the pics, saw it was my old friend and sent them a PM saying "what the heck is up man".. LOL Never could have happend as smoothly by digging through online and real phonebooks.
Yuwie is a social networking site, much like Myspace but they pay their users to do stuff they normally would do on a site such as this. (Blog, chat, post, upload pics/videos, etc.) I signed up the other day because I want to do an experiment on how you can "work" yuwie to earn at least a mediocre supplemental income. Too early to tell how that will work out. Anyway, I also use myspace as well. More of my friends are there.
