I got scammed by darksanity.

I was trading for FTN torrent invites for my precious SCT account AND a BitMeTv invite.

He told me to send them both first and since he is a respected member (or so he seemed: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=5416000#post5416000) I did so.

But, he did not send me the FTN invite and now I lost so much. Now, I saw him going to User CP --> Modifying Options and now I see him online no more. He changed to invisible mode I suppose? How do I go about reporting him? Who do I forward the PMs to?

All you gonna get is a infraction for attacking a member...

you can go to the site and tell them your account was stolen and they might give it you back. and then leave him neg itrader and red reps

Thanks. I am right now in their support irc forum waiting in line for chance to talk. I will try to get it back. Yeah, I have his gmail address which I had to confirm for account change.

Darksanity, please do send me the screenshots or post it. I gave you two email addresses, just in case the gmail one was what was causing the problem. Even my domain it would not get delivered? That is weird.

 

Where exactly do you see that? A red big square of reputation and less than a few hundred posts... I won't trust myself with such credentials.

Well, it was green and >300 posts, 1 thread about his business, member for >6 months, and 13 itraders. I am new here so I thought he must be a well regarded person with stats like that. I guess it is all my mistake.

 

Sent my other email address on my own domain. Do send the invite or send me a screenshot of the invite.

Same thing happened to me, (he spammed me for his invites) and in all fairness he didn't have a red rep until phoenixofflames gave him his second neg rep.

 

not only that but 300 posts? not that posts is a be all end all as we know from other "respected" members
