Does it help you in any way to submit your 50 sites to Google and Yahoo if all you're going to do right now is park them?
I've never done it before. I've always been told that it will hurt if Google or Yahoo decideds that all your site is, is a parked page and you did a manual submit.. It would probably just be better to link to them from a site that is actively crawled by the SE spiders and bots, this way they will eventually be crawled and picked up. What does everyone else say?
A parked page has no content - just ads. It won't rank well, if at all, in search engines. Most parked pages you see in the SERPS are running on fumes from past life as a 'real' website.
Don't submit them, at least I wouldn't. As said previously it may do more harm than good. Just link to them from a site that has already been spidered. It will eventually be picked up.
Thanks for your help everyone. Guess I won't bother with submitting to G. In fact, they've already found and indexed a couple of them by themselves without my help.
Of almost every Search Engine out there. I think that just about all of them mention something about not submitting parked pages.
I only submit a site (not parked) if Google doesn't pick them up after a month or two but it only helps occasionally.
