How many of you are marketing on craigslist through azoogle?

I've been getting roughly 12.5% conversions.

Anyone care to share their percentages? I'm trying to figure out if i'm doing it well enough.

how are you posting via CL? Aren't they flagging the ads for spam? Interesting idea though. 12.5% is pretty high though.

    I'm up to 14% now.

They ads are getting flagged... but not before at least 1,000 emails come through. More than enough for a pretty good conversion.

I make each post by hand... and use a simple auto responder to respond back with the affiliate link. It's really simple and straight forward, you just need to have a way with words to convince people to go to the site.

What types of offers are you promoting this way? I don't need specific offer numbers...just the general industry would be nice. It's an interesting idea - I will look into it.

Promoting dating... that's pretty much it. Started using the fling.com one and i'm showing 8% conversions right now. Not bad so far. $600 in about 20 minutes works too! :)

    That's pretty cool...

So you basically post a dating offer in a bunch of different cities, trying to get as many craigslist visitors as possible to send you an email on the site. The email address is an autoresponder which replies to their original message with a sales email including an affiliate link to a popular dating site.

    Correct?

Good way to think outside of the box. I'm sure this strategy would work well with other offers too.

Not using any program. I am posting all of the ads by hand, which I find to be converting much better because they are not duplicate ads.

    Dim:

Which auto responder would you consider on this technique? would a free one like phplist suffice?

In gmail, just login and go to "Settings." Add your auto responder now.

Should be the same with any other mail client.
