Hey guys Before you read on if you dont like people moaning then dont read any further cos thats all this message is for. I am getting well and truley sick of the state of this work, I used to do a bit here and a bit there to help out a couple of site owners I know for a bit of cash in hand but it is getting to the point where it is totally pointless. This is the latest offer I have recived placment on this page in return for me linking to http://www.xenonlightshid.com from the site I work on http://www.lease-hire.co.uk The page they want to add me to is a fake website he sticks links on to enable him to get links to the real site that he cares about. Look at how many links are on the page and the state of the site. This is just the latest of many offers for link exchanges which are an utter joke, now please do tell me if I am way off the mark and am missing something here but... I just dont get why I am reciving so many crazy offers for link exchanges when the sites i work on are very repectable websites and deserve some deasent link exchanges.
It might be because your e-mail address is too freely available for spam bots, etc. I know it can be annoying, it's happening to my celebrity blog at the moment and even though real websites nogg me about it, I just can't be asked with those who have very few visitors/ low PR.
Na na you got me wrong this was an offer made to me from someone on these forums by PM. As you say I expect naf offers like that to come though the advertised email address of the site its the joys of having it out for everybody to see as you say. That was my bad I was not very clear, I mean the deals i get offered though PMs on this site have gone really bad. Back when I used the forum loads 6 months ago there was loads of offers comming in and they were good worthwhile offers. Now I get few offers and terrible ones at that.
Excessive link exchanging can get you penalized in Google anyway. Look for some quality exchanges that may also bring you some traffic.
Lol yeah I know and I do want people to contact me about link exchanges just not poor quality sites like that, which like one of the other have said is basicly a link farm. Thats what I am trying to get at why would he think I would want to do a link exchange when he is offering my link to be added to a page like that?
