Heh, that was a terrible answer to a very simple question. I personally couldn't care less if you all get blown to bits, but as someone who tries to think progressively I really can't understand how the ongoing conflict is in anyones best interest over there.
Your reply that it is all about "winning next time" makes me wonder if you think this is all a game? Are all these lives being lost on both sides for decades just pawns in a chessboard?
I just don't get it I suppose. Human life seems valuable to me.

Yes, Hezbollah blew up IDF soldiers during a war, did you want them to shoot chocolate and flowers from their guns?

That is an inaccurate measure! You cannot do it just by number of people in it.

According to the CIA and other Intelligence Services (European, Asian, African) this is the tally - based on a Combination of Manpower, Technology, Firepower, Training, Resources, Available Reserves, and Nuclear Potential (Current or Likely):

    1. USA
    2. China
    3. Germany
    4. India
    5. France
    6. Russia
    7. UK
    8. Italy
    9. Israel
    10. Pakistan

Also I agree blowing up innocent people is wrong but your argument is biased.

The real interesting thing about the US's Military force is, unlike almost every other nation in the world.. it is all voluntary.. Go figure. People in the US recognize that freedom is not free and do not have to be asked to denfend it.

AHH but he said largest (think biggest was the word he used) if he had said one of the strongest I would probably agree, but he did not and really who cares, even the strongest army can be defeated without firing a single shot at them. It has been done before.

If the only people who had ever been killed by Hezbollah where soldiers then I would not have said innocent people. I am pretty sure that suicide bombings and kidnappings are what Hezbollah started with and I am also pretty sure they did not care if the victims where civilians or not.

I really am not as biased as you might think. My argument has very little to do with whether Israel is better than Hezbollah (who cares?) and more to do with disdain at anyone thinking a group that engages in terror tactics is a wonderful thing. If you want to really take an unbiased look at the situation you have to put aside any particular hatred for governments or religions and think of people as individuals.

No need to apologise, I don't believe you were responsible. It just gets tiring when everything seems to boil down to the Middle East question when it has no real relation to the point at hand.

I think China, if they wanted, could probably kick our(USA) teeth in. You know what kind of economic ruin they could put us in? Plus their immense army.

Israel lost more than 100 soldiers and 40 Merkava tanks and moreover they did not succeed in capturing a single village or town. The only success for Israel was its slaughter of [an estimated] 1500 innocent civilians and the wanton destruction of civilian infrastructure.

Hezbollah defended Lebanon, whereas the mighty lebanese army went into hiding. Do you think Hezb is a terrorist organisation? The kicked out Israeli occupiers from Lebanon. They are the heroes of lebanon.

You can never understand what a military occupation is, unless you suffer under it.

Israelis destroyed Lebanese infrastructure completely. Such a humane force, I would imagine killed 1500 people in 34 days.

How many civilians were killed by the Hezb in this war? They certainly have long-range missiles, even missiles that can reach Tel Aviv.

But Hezbollah are NOT Animals, the IDF is.

Sad to see you in denial.
Fact is, Hezbollah started firing rockets over Israel. No one had to die.
...But, it proves to me once again that these people understand and know only blood, like hundreds of years ago.

It is a shame to see little to no progress in that part of society.

Umm, that chart isnt showing the real power of army. You know why in WW2 there are 10ml of russian troops died vs 5ml of german? Because they were poorly equipped unlike germans. So that chart isnt anything more than just a numbers.

lol......no comments:D You dont even know about your army. Your volunteers polish shoes in 50 states, not fighting in a war somewhere in Iraq or Iran. They called Army Contractors, otherwise u wouldnt be wasting bln's of $ on your "voluntary army"...

Uh thats because we have nuclear weapons now??

you could have 10 billion troops, it only takes 1 man to shoot enough nukes to destory the whole world. Man power is nothing now. Nobody is the strongest anymore, all there is now is who has the power to destory everyone if they wanted too.
