How do you clean your LCD Monitor

Sorry for the dumb question but I've lost the manual for my LCD monitor. I've a pretty sleek one so wanna take good care of it. Thus would wanna know how to clean a LCD Monitor coz i see finger prints on it.

I've tried to clean is using Paper , Cloth (both dry and gently) and nothing worked. How do you keep your LCD Monitor clean ?

 

Avoid using any organic solvents (like alcohol).
It's perfectly safe to gently wipe your LCD with a water-dampened cloth.
Another one you might have heard of (if you clean windows) is to add a little vinegar to the water and use that - again shouldn't cause any problems.

 

Use a windex without ammonia. I dont bother for that and use water-damnpened cloth as mentioned above. Both work wonderfully.

 

I use what ever I am wearing.

 

I have 1 spray,its one of the AMWAY product.

 

Cleaning the monitor?

Just don't use abrasive liquids.

 

I rarely clean my monitor. But when I do I use water and a towel

 

I use a Rosewill LCD screen cleaner, it came with a spray and a cleaner and I like it a lot!

NEVER use any kind of alcohol on it!

 

this is also what I use, havn't noticed any damage yet

 

I use CleanSafe - comes with a cloth and works very well - will try water when it runs out

 

That's what I was thinking... I just wipe mine off with a sleeve sometimes

It's been working for over two years so far...

 

I just use a baby wipe..

 

I use the same cloth I clean my glasses with.

 

I use tissue paper to clean the monitor once a week.

 

lol.. that's what I was going to say.. I use my shirt or closest towel

 

I use Ajax and Sandpaper.





Just Kidding, I use windex and a glass cleaning cloth.

I use cleaning cloth and water sometimes...

 

you should use some good glass cleaner i pesonally use glint it cleans the screen and rest of the laptop just fine almost looks like new

 

I think the best thing to use is a soft cloth slightly dampened with water.
