Well i own a proxy network, which i set up last month, www.kepthidden.info Just wondering what you guys and girls, thought of my first months income, i started my websites on the 8th November and had thanks giving in between which decreased my earnings. I made in total for the month $106.69 Adsene for content earnings were: $78.69 Adsense for search earnings were: $28.00 which i think was quite good especially the adsense for search i am just wondering what you think for a months work, considering the sites had not been up for a total month Thanks Will.
How did you get started with this? Does it cost a lot to run a proxy network site? I am interested in starting one.
Hi there, i got started by buying some proxy domains, then used a free template to set up the websites, and basically through advertising i have made traffic and got money from adsense, if you want i can sell you some of my proxy domains, since i have too many and the bandwidth for my hosting is getting to full, so i need to get rid of some. I have about ten main proxy sites, all networked upto each other, i basically advertise all 10 in my own way,and try to add one domain each week, however this depends on my traffic if its dipping i will, if its increasing i dont, i wait till the week later. I advise you too, to add some more proxy sites to your website, and produce a proxy network, i can say that it would most definatly increase your traffic. Will.
As it is christmas this month, i am thinkiing of being realistic and saying $50-$75 i cant see me making much this month, due to schools finishing and work employess taking there holidays, so i am currently under going research in to a christmas website, to make money of Will.
Thanks mate Pure profit was $106.69 minus $6.99 for hosting (however i am changing it soon, as i know i will get suspended from godaddy, plus with increased traffic i will need too) other than that i paid $15 for some advertising from 'brompton web' who is a member on here, i found the first url he advertised in my second week, increased my traffic dramatically, either that or at the same time, my own advertising methods were doing well, however the second time, i was not as succesful, however this could be due to a number of reasons. I think its definatly worth advertising with him once to try it out. I have used myspace, however i doubt very much that i am getting much traffic from there, aswell as that i have used word of mouth, 'telling my friends' on msn and in reality. I have also used Yahoo answers and Yahoo groups, forum signatures and many more techniques, most of my techniques if not all are hinted and advised by most people. I now plan on, not buying anymore advertising, in this month i shall experiment a lot with ppc businesses and also advert placement, i shall also get my sites running on different hosting i think, ready for next year and also i have other websites to get up and running.
