changing ip will affect ranking

Hi can any body tell

we have change our website ip, will it affect ranking

as after changing ip my site ranking has gone and moreover google has drop some pages of my website

anyway, you should give google some more time to regain your ranking, specially if you had a period of downtime, like a few days, while updating dns and stuff, did you?

 

How long time ago did you change your IP? Basiclly it should beceme the same after a period of time (2 weeks - 1 month).

 

For some time, it'll affect the site's ranking. The best way to do to regain your previous rank is link building

 

Is your new IP based in a different country?

 

no its from same country

 

This is temporary and if you have good website ranking will come to place where it belongs. And yes changing ips, country of hosting, outage, etc... affects ranking !

do i have to wait and watch

 

Or instead you sit and watch you can add some content and build some backlinks
