How many people use Vibrant Media? Do you make a lot from using their ads or what?

They were after me for a couple months and I finally added them to my forums. First month I made $x,xxx, but not as much as they had thought I'd do... and this month it is coming in almost right on the button to the estimate they gave me before I signed up. I haven't received any payment from them yet, but I'm not within the net 30 for the first month until next week, so hopefully that will be forthcoming pretty soon. The great part was this was all net increase since I didn't replace anything... just added it. I am using it on a large forum, and so far I've only had a handful of people complain, and the click through rates have been very good.

The community is PDAPhoneHome DOT com. I'm new here, so not sure if its OK to just post a link... don't want anyone to think I'm spamming. I need to post a request for a PHP programmer, and after joining I discovered that I had to post a while first, and then got into some of these threads... and I'll now have another forum that I get hooked to... :)

Anyways, the site gets around 20K uniques per day and there are generally about 1500 people on the forum at any given point in time. Like I said, they came after me about joining and I'm glad they found me... assuming that they actually pay me. I'm sure they will, not really worried about it because thus far they've been very professional about the whole thing and I see many reputable sites running their stuff.

I suspect that the payout is going to depend a lot on the topic. I'm getting a large number of clicks which kind of surprised me, but its steady and ironically about the same as my daily clicks with Adsense. But VM has been outperforming Adsense based on the clicks so far. My biggest concern was that the members would get bent out of shape... I often will just test new ad programs on non-registered users, but I put them right in and they started working day one. You can control how many links they throw on a page. I think there are diminishing returns on this because if you put on too many, it will annoy the users. I think I'm set for about 5 on a page right now. By the way, I don't think these slow down page loading... the code is the last thing in the page code, and the links pop in after the page is loaded.

I've been using it for 3 months now. I earn around 30$ daily, ads are placed on two sites.

The community has been going for about 5 years. Vibrant continues to generate pretty good numbers, and since it is incremental income, its been great. I have had a handful of people complain about it, but I'm not sure what the problem is since its fairly transparent. If you don't hover over the obvious links, then it does nothing. If you do hover and something shows, you don't have to do anything to make it go away on its on... just ignore it. I continue to get very good click through rates too.
